I am beyond saddened that I have to make this post. I have been a fan of Brandon and Johnny since the day he showed up in Port Charles back in 2007. But sadly Brandon has decided to leave GH.

With a bittersweet, heavy heart I announce my time at GH has come to an end, as I have chosen to move on&pursue my NBA career. I love u all.

While many of us wondered for a few hours that maybe it was just Brandon joking around; word has now come that his management has confirmed the exit.

One of daytime’s favorite bad guy characters, who at times had a bit of a conscious, will soon be departing his soap! The news this afternoon came first via Brandon Barash’s (Johnny) Twitter page, and has now been confirmed by On-Air On-Soaps through Barash’s management, that the popular actor is indeed exiting General Hospital!
